If employees see that management has an interest in their well-being and morale, the workers might reward their bosses with increased productivity, a byproduct of increased exercise.

Employers should encourage employees to participate in physical fitness programs for these and other reasons. Regular exercise has benefits beyond the apparent ones, such as positive effects on one’s work performance.
